March 2006
- One
After dealing with the first flush
of weeds which came through after the new
garden beds were established, I mulched the whole area,
and began planting
The new beds look a bit stark at
the moment, but I keep reminding myself
that the original area, at the bottom right of this photo, was only planted
a couple of years ago
This area has grown well, and the
birds constantly feed on the grevilleas
and other nectar offering plants
When I bought this prostrate acacia
I was told I should trim it right back.
I just couldn't bring myself to do it, but it's travelled so far along the
rock faces
that I may trim it back one branch per year!
As you can see - it quite happy
sprawling all over the place
