Harvest
Time
The Tommy Toe tomatoes are just a lovely size to either cut in half
to put into a salad - or slice for a yummy sandwich.
Jonni decided it was time to harvest his pumpkins,
and he was quite proud of this one........................
......until I harvested my feral pumpkin which grew on a plant spreading
from the east wall of the house - right into the pond!
It weighed 6.5 kilos, totally outsmarting the 'highly cultured'
specimen from the vegie garden. And it tasted fabulous.
By the end of April, Jonni's up to the last of the raised beds.
There a ton of gravel to shift before he can find a level surface at sufficient
depth.
