While we've been busy building the garage and organising the commencement
of the
building of the house, the garden has managed to survive the drought with
just a few casualties.
This pretty
little blue plant (which I'm told is an isotoma axillaris) popped up voluntarily
in a heap of gravel at the back of the garden. It had never had any water,
and found it's way up through several planks of wood.
In the meantime
the beautiful creeper which grows over the shed
at the end of the drive is changing into its autumn tones
And five days later
it's a glowing magnificent blaze
And among the jungle
of the grass bed this tiny little toadstool grew,
and stayed, for almost a week!
