I spent my first fifty years in Australia trying to re-create an English garden,
only to see it disappear with the first hot days of summer.
I knew very little about Australian plants when we bought the land to build our home
in 2002, but the more I continue, the more joy I find in seeing
so much of the garden thriving in our hot summers
