April 2007

Brachyschome 'Piliger's Pink' I have found to be not a vigorous plant - but an extremely tough one.
I've discovered healthy plants absolutely buried under the large spring leaf drop of the silky oaks
and they don't to be at all perturbed

Eucalyptus pulverulenta.
We have three of these trees which all grew tall and straggly, and then bowed over completely
following a storm (not quite all at the same time!)
We cut them down to the ground and they have regenerated well as coppiced trees.

The garden outside Mum/Beatrice's part of the house is now looking well settled.
