The Vines doing their Thing

Last Spring I planted cutting of the lovely ornamental vine
which grows over the old shed at the end of the drive.

Initially I tried growing them in large terra cotta pots, but wasn't really happy with the result
so I planted one by each of the four pergola posts.

The resident swamp rats didn't like where I planted two of the four
and just chewed through the roots and piffed them out!
But the remaining two have thrived, and it's lovely to see the colour changed through the seasons.
