An Overall View

Jonni's work with the crowbar has thinned out the huge tussock grasses which
dominated the whole garden, and it was amazing to find all sorts of
plants which I had forgotten planting!

This view from our dining/living room window is ever changing and always busy with birds.
Just in front of the red callistemon and half draped over the first of the rocks
is my treasured persoonia nutans. It never gets watered and flowers for ages.

This is the same callistemon (Kings Park Special) as in the previous photo,
but from the other side of the raised bed.

And this is the same garden bed where I've pulled out much of the 'field' of wallaby grass and
almost finished mulching - after a welcome drop of rain.
